The Manager Legislative Services and Corporate Initiatives provided an overview of the draft Policy, highlighting that the intent of the Policy is to  ensure transparency, consistency and an even-playing field for all candidates during election periods.

Mayor West introduced the Metro Vancouver Regional District's "Metro 2050 Regional Growth Strategy".
